Our London Weekend

The program of the day, get lost in the streets of the center and try to see some of the most important monuments. In short to have fun without putting too much pressure.
  • The center
  • Oxford Street
  • Neal's Square
  • Leicester Square
  • Chinatown

Piccadilly Circus

Our day starts in the Soho district, where we had booked our accommodation. I strongly advise you to stay in this area, especially if you are only going for a weekend. You will be close to everything and it is a very lively area. The brunch: Muriel's Kitchen is a must, it's really delicious! I was captivated by the decoration. Chinatown : direction the Far East, we particularly like to get lost in the Chinatowns of the big capitals. Between the lacquered ducks that throne over the windows of restaurants and its specialty shops, there is something for everyone. Neal's yard: it's a small colourful square, next to mommouth street. I have to admit that I really wanted to visit this place and obviously I wasn't the only one... It's a really nice place. Do not hesitate to push the door of the restaurant Homeslice Pizza, the pizzas are super good and huge!

King Cross

My first Weekend in London couldn't be complete without a passage on the 9 3/4 track. Ok it's a very touristy attraction but as a Harry Potter fan it's a must see. If you want to take a picture with the famous trolley, get up early because the wait is very, very long.  You can then go to the shop and buy some souvenirs or not.

The monuments

Buckingham Palace: in front of the memorial dedicated to Queen Victoria, often stormed by tourists, in summer you can visit Buckingham Palace. The royal flag above the facade informs about the presence of the Queen. You can also come and enjoy the parade of the Royal Guard at 11.30 am. Attention, the changeover does not take place every day depending on the season. Take the information here

Big Ben: the famous 13-ton bell that rings every 15 minutes

London eyes: the eye of London, 135 m high, I strongly advise you to buy your tickets in advance. It is possible to privatize a capsule to ask for the hand of one's beloved. The capsule stops for a few minutes at the very top in order to make your request. Tower Bridge: the most recognizable bridge in London, I urge you to go to Horseleydown Old staires. You just have to go down the stairs to find this nice spot. Well I even got my socks wet a little bit but it was worth it! The stay ends on a very positive note! We can't wait to come back very soon to continue discovering this beautiful city.
